A&M rates 86 in Princeton Green Review - Wednesday, August 12, 2009

The Princeton Review's second annual Green Rating evaluates colleges and universities on their environmentally-related policies, practices and academic offerings. The result is a numerical score on a scale of 60-99. Learn more at  http://www.princetonreview.com/green.aspx.

 Recycling Minimize

TAMU Recycling is diligently working towards making the Texas A&M University a Sustainable Campus by fulfilling the recycling needs of the entire university. TAMU Recycling plans to expand the Residence Hall Recycling Program and currently caters to 11 Residence Halls. The TAMU Recycling center recycles an average of 60 tons a month in 140 buildings on campus.

To view the campus buildings that receive recycling, go to Aggie maps. In the legend click "Building Data" then click the box next to "Buildings with Recycling". Refresh the page by clicking the brush button. Buildings with recycling will appear in blue.
