Small changes can make a big difference

The Aggie Sustainability Alliance is a campus wide program that encourages faculty and staff to participate in fostering a culture of sustainability. Individuals, offices, and student organizations are recognized for their voluntary contributions to major sustainable areas such as energy and water use, transportation, food and purchasing, waste minimization, and social sustainability.

Certifications

Individual Certification

The online individual certification is the base of the Aggie Sustainability Alliance. All Texas A&M University faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to complete the certification.

Office Certification

For participants seeking greater involvement, the Aggie Sustainability Alliance additionally offers an  office-wide certification. Offices self-define and generally share common kitchen areas and break rooms. To qualify to participate, 35% or more of full-time faculty/staff working in the space must have first certified as individuals within ASA.

Student Organization Certification

For student participants seeking greater involvement, the Aggie Sustainability Alliance offers a student organization certification. To qualify, 35% or more of organization members must have first certified within ASA.
