Compost at TAMU Urban Farm United

Donate your compostable items to TAMU Urban Farm United and scan the QR code on location to submit a Google Form. Each visit to donate will be worth 10 entries into the Earth Month Celebration Giveaway.

Visits must be on different days between April 3 and April 28, 2023.

What to Compost

  • Newspaper and Printer Paper (No coated, glossy, or glitter paper)
  • Cardboard (Remove plastic stickers and tape)
  • Yard Waste (Leaves, grass clippings, twigs, etc.)
  • Raw fruits and veggies (no potatoes or produce stickers)
  • Eggshells and coffee grounds

No bread, meat, or dairy.

Directions

  • From the Intersection of University and College Ave., drive for 1/4 mile toward Bryan on College Avenue.
  • Turn right on Hensel Dr.
  • After the second stop sign, take an immediate left onto the dirt road (Floriculture Road).
  • Stay to the left.
  • In 100 feet turn right at the chain-link fence.
  • Look for composting stalls near the greenhouse.
