Presentations
Student interns create lecture style presentations to teach the university community about living sustainably, sustainability on campus and sustainability issues they find most important for our world to address. Participants can earn items that will help them live more sustainably.
Workshops
Student interns work together to select and research sustainability issues to create interactive learning stations that educate the university community about the problems they deem most pressing to society. Attendees form small groups and rotate through four, ten-minute learning stations running concurrently. Participants earn items that will help them live more sustainably for attending.
Earth Day - Earth Month
Texas A&M University hosts an annual Earth Month Celebration every April. Campus celebrations include both in-person and virtual events and ways for participants to learn more about making our earth and campus greener and the opportunity to earn sustainable prizes.
Campus Sustainability Day
Since 2003, universities across the nation have been sponsoring Campus Sustainability events which celebrate sustainability in higher education. These events serve as an arena for sustainability awareness and education. We want everyone to be effective leaders in their environment, whether that is Texas A&M, Bryan, College Station or at home. Our goal is to expose, educate and empower attendees with the skills they need to be more sustainable—environmentally, socially, and economically.
